Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of MeetandGreet.AI and the purchase of usage minutes.
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the relationship between the provider of the MeetandGreet.AI platform (named in our Impressum; "we", "us") and you as a user. They apply to consumers and businesses alike; mandatory statutory consumer-protection rights remain unaffected.
2. Subject of the contract
MeetandGreet.AI provides AI-based interview practice: simulated interview panels, AI-generated questions, real-time conversation, and automated scoring and feedback. The service is sold as prepaid usage minutes that are debited as you use it.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the platform. By using the service you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. Conclusion of contract
Using the platform requires registration via the supported sign-in. A paid contract is concluded when you order usage minutes and we confirm the order or process your payment. The online presentation of the service is not a binding offer but an invitation to place an order.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are stated in euros. For consumers, prices include statutory VAT (gross prices). Payment is processed by our payment service provider Stripe, whose terms apply to the payment transaction. Purchased minutes are credited to your balance after successful payment.
6. Usage minutes and refunds
Usage minutes are consumed in real time while you use the service; a started session is billed against your balance. Outside the statutory right of withdrawal (Section 7) and mandatory warranty rights, purchased minutes are non-refundable and cannot be paid out in cash. Minutes do not expire unless stated otherwise at purchase.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts. Full details — including the early-expiry rule for digital services and the model withdrawal form — are set out in our separate Right of Withdrawal notice (/widerruf).
8. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, software updates, infrastructure failures, third-party service outages, and force majeure events may cause interruptions. We may modify or discontinue features, while preserving minutes already purchased.
9. User obligations
You agree to use the service lawfully, to provide accurate registration data, and to keep your access credentials secure. In particular, you agree not to: • submit unlawful, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, or offensive content; • upload malicious software; • circumvent security measures or attempt unauthorised access to the platform; • overload or reverse-engineer the platform; • use the service for fraudulent purposes; • harass or abuse the AI systems or other users.
10. AI-generated content
Questions, scores, and feedback are generated by AI for practice purposes only. They are not a professional, psychological, legal, or career assessment, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and do not constitute advice. You remain solely responsible for any decisions you base on them.
11. Recording of sessions
Where interview sessions or transcripts are stored, this is done solely to provide platform functionality (e.g. real-time feedback, session review) and in accordance with our Privacy Policy (/privacy). You are responsible for observing any recording rules that may apply on your side.
12. Intellectual property and user content
All content, software, AI avatars, algorithms, user interfaces, logos, trademarks, and other intellectual property of the platform belong to us or our licensors. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for your personal interview practice. Content you submit remains yours; you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process that content solely to operate the service, ensure security, and comply with legal obligations.
13. Account suspension
We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, misuse the platform, engage in fraudulent activity, threaten platform security, or fail to make required payments. Any payment claims already accrued remain unaffected. Users may terminate their account at any time; termination does not affect payment obligations for services already provided.
14. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation (cardinal obligation), and then limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Any further liability is excluded. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
15. Third-party services
The platform integrates services from third parties, in particular payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting, speech recognition, and AI-model providers. Where you interact with those services their own terms apply. We are not responsible for services operated by third parties.
16. Data protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy (/privacy).
17. Changes to these terms
We may amend these GTC where there is a valid reason (e.g. changes in law or to the service). We will notify you of material changes in good time, e.g. by email. If you do not object within the stated reasonable period, the changes are deemed accepted; we will point out the significance of your silence. Your statutory right to terminate remains unaffected.
18. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; for consumers this does not remove the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence. Should any provision be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected. The EU online dispute resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ .
